Everyone experiences workplace stress, even in the most laid-back working environments. However, constantly working under stress and pressure could be harming more than just your mental health. Researchers have collected and analyzed data from 79 studies reporting the impact the between physical symptoms and various work-related stressors. They found that these common workplace stressors are directly related to eight common physical health problems.
This infographic details the most common stressors, and what their direct effects are. Physical symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, appetite increase or decrease and gastrointestinal problems can all be attributed to common problems we all have to deal with on the job.
