Want to earn your Master of Public Health in Florida? There are many programs that offer an MPH degree that can be completed entirely online or through a traditional on-campus curriculum. The following is a list of some of the accredited MPH programs in the Sunshine State.

The University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions offers students the opportunity to earn a Master of Public Health with the option of choosing an emphasis in one of six concentrations: biostatistics, environmental health, epidemiology, public health policy and management, social and behavioral sciences, and public health practice. The University, which is fully-accredited, allows students to choose between an online and on-campus program. Both programs require students to complete at least five units through an internship in the field. To earn their MPH, students must also participate in a special project, which involves an oral or poster presentation as well as a final written report to be submitted.
The USF College of Public Health is recognized nationally for its notable alumni and distinguished faculty. The University offers seven programs through which students can earn their MPH in a traditional on-campus setting- maternal and child health, public health education, behavioral health, social marketing, socio-health sciences, epidemiology & maternal and child health, and nutrition and dietetics. In addition, USF has a well-regarded online program with its own criteria for graduation and with six unique concentrations including infection control and public heath administration.
Florida A&M’s MPH program is designed to be completed entirely online, making it convenient option for students who are looking to earn their master degree but who may have other responsibilities and time commitments. The program, which is 50 credits, offers both full-time and part-time tracks for its students who can choose to earn either a general Masters in Public Health or to follow a specialized curriculum for Environmental and Occupational Health. The full-time program is designed to be completed within five semesters, which means students can expect to earn the professional online degree in a little over two years.
Like Florida A&M University’s online MPH program, the two-year program at the University of South Florida is designed to be compelted entirely from the computer through web podcasts, group discussions, and other such online means. USF offers six concentrations- behavioral and social science, biostatistics and informatics, environmental and occupational health, epidemiology, a global health, health policy and administration, and a general MPH degree- for students who want specialized knowledge as they prepare for their future professional career.
